In 1994, Los Angeles was upset to hear that their football team, the LA Rams, was moving to St. Louis. 22 years later, in a shocking turn of events, the football team will finally return to LA to play in the National Football League (NFL) next season. “I can’t put it into words,” said former player, Eric Dickerson. “When I see them kick off, the first time they play, that’s when I’ll believe it’s really happened.” The team was bought back for a whopping 1.4 billion dollars. They will be playing their home games in Inglewood, where the old Hollywood Race Track used to be. The new stadium won’t be ready until the 2019 NFL season. In the meantime, they will play at the LA Coliseum. Los Angeles is excited for next season and we will be more excited to watch football knowing that our team is playing.
