The eighth grade musical is a meaningful experience for those who join, which gives them a chance to improve their singing, dancing, and acting skills, as well as getting closer to their friends. “I feel excited because it will give me self-confidence, while helping me create memories and strong bonds with my classmates,” said Harsh Bola. This year’s play, Guys and Dolls, is about a risk-taker named Nathan Detroit (going to be played by Michael IsHak) who creates illegal dice games all around New York City. His fiance of fourteen years, Adelaide (Noemi Nagy), constantly begs him to stop so the couple can get married. One of Nathan’s old friends, Sky Masterson (Matteo Lecat), who wins every bet he makes, comes to town. Nathan always dreamed of winning a bet with Sky, so he risks two thousand dollars, on a wager, that Sky cannot take Sarah Brown (Yumari Tatsumi), the leader of an anti-gambling mission, on a date. Who will win? To find out, come and support the production in late March!
