The 6th through 8th graders went on a field trip on December 8th to

the Skyspace in downtown Los Angeles. There they had the chance

to slide down the Skyslide if they dared! While at Skyspace, the

students stood in front of the Silhouette Wall which uses pixels to

create reflective images of themselves. There is also the the Infinity

Mirror that looks down an old elevator shaft that makes you feel like

you may fall into a very deep hole. Then the 360-degree LA Skyline

Timelapse shows some of LA’s most identifiable landmarks and

neighborhoods. Before the field trip, I asked Erin Lee and Jennifer

Arthur, both in 6th grade if they would go down the 45foot slide and

they said “Yes, we are so excited.” If I were in their shoes, I would

do the slide!
