This year’s January service project is away of helping PATH (People Assisting the Homeless), an organization that helps homeless people recover and get back on their feet. In some cases, they even start them off with the new home. The school’s part was to donate travel-sized hygienic goods such as hand sanitizer or deodorant. Each class was given a few specific items to bring for the service project and at the end of the month, the sixth grade will deliver the goods straight to the organization. By collecting these items, Good Shepherd School is contributing to the cause of ending homelessness. Carlos Gonzalez, Chief Compliance Officer at PATH said,We strive to do this by prioritizing housing while providing customized supportive services for people in need.”
