Fifth grade did the “Walk Through the American Revolution” program at school on October 25th. This program teaches us about the history of the US. The reason we do this program is so we can learn through role play instead of just books. We all have characters to play and we are given information cards about those characters. We also get to dress up as one of them which is fun. My characters were Nancy Morgan Hart, Betsy Ross and the Sons of Liberty. Your class is split into teams and you have the chance to win points for your team throughout the day. Memorising all your information cards is a good way to earn points. The “Walk Through” events are held in the Music/Art Room. My mum, Victoria attended the 4th grade “Walk Through California” last year. I asked her if she enjoyed it. She said, “It was so fun and such a great way to learn!”
