At our school, most students and teachers celebrate the birth of Jesus otherwise known as Christmas. It is a special holiday that takes place every year on December 25. The way we celebrate Christmas has changed over the years. The first Christmas was baby Jesus lying in a manger surrounded by his mother Mary and his father Joseph along with three wise men. It was a glorious day for all the world; a king was born. The wise men came bearing gifts of gold, frankincense and myrrh. This is how the gift of giving started for Christmas. Every year most at our school celebrate this holiday because it was the birth of the boy who was holy to our God and us. He is the main reason we celebrate Christmas. It was his birthday. We all need to pray on this holy day. That is the history of Christmas.
